It was brought to my attention that perhaps I should note that while we will be in the Old Testament for quite a while, It is of the UTMOST importance that we share together the GOOD NEWS as well!!! JUST INCASE SOMEONE HASN’T HEARD IT YET!!!

The GOOD NEWS OF JESUS CHRIST, or the gospel, is the news of salvation through Jesus’ death on the and resurrection. It is a message of liberation from sin, brokenness, and estrangement from God.

The good news of Jesus Christ includes:

Forgiveness

Jesus took on the sins of humanity and paid for them when he died on the cross.

New life

Through Jesus, people are given new life and are no longer slaves to sin.

Freedom

The power that raised Christ from the dead is now at work in people, giving them the freedom not to sin.

Ability to do good

People are able to do the things they were made to do, which honor their creator and bring them joy.

PEACE THAT TRANSCENDENDS ALL UNDERSTANDING!!!
